A Kiss Goodbye.

From when he was about 3 months old.  He would know I would not let him go without a kiss.

I didn't get one today.   I gave him one on the head after he had gone.
Just too sick.

But he sat in the sun for almost an hour... 40 degrees and cold as it needs to be in Phoenix.  He was content:
It is not the end of the blog, I will tell you a little more but it is the end of our guy.
LOVE you so much.

  6. Hi! I came across your site here while looking up DCA. My 14+ kitty has a tumor in her chest cavity and we are on steroids and hospice. I am so sorry for your loss of your beautiful boy. Our furbabies really steal our hearts, don't they? I know it's been several years since you wrote this, but just wanted to send my condolences just the same.

    1. Thank you, Callendula. It took about two years but a new kitty found me. THIS time he is not named Kid. He is the Thing. A fluffy sort of Maine Coon/ragdoll of a cat. They are all so different. There are no soulful long stares... but here is no impending calculation of my death. My new kitty (2 years now) is more off a goofball, but not at all a cuddler. So my winters are still chilly, but my days ar full of laughs and smiles. Hope you keep your love in your heart for this one and allow someone else to move in.
About DCA. I KNOW it ate the tumor. Unfortunately, the death of that much tissue is also poisonous, It DOES need more research and formulation. It was an amazing experiment. So sad it was on my Dude when he was past hope.

    2. I am glad you have him! I'm sure he is handsome!! I love how they all have their own personalities. Each one is so precious. I have 2 inside and 3 (from a stray momma cat) outside. Thank you for the information. I am so sorry you ended up having to say goodbye. DCA sounds like it could be very helpful with the right protocols and such. I hope they pursue it and figure it all out.
